About Kathleen Minser
orn and raised in Livermore, is a graduate from Livermore High School. After being with Waste Management for 25 years, as the Western Region Government Affairs & Communications Director, she retired in 2012. She is now a Realtor & Director of Operations for Legacy Real Estate and Associates, and for 34-years she has been known in the community as “Ask Kathleen”.
Kathleen has been the President for the Livermore Rodeo Foundation, since it founded in 2008. Currently celebrating 13-years, in partnership with the Livermore Stockmen’s Rodeo Association which is celebrating a 103-years of Livermore Rodeo. Kathleen started helping the rodeo in the late 90’s.
Kathleen has been active in the community from being an advocate for recycling and her volunteering. Kathleen serves on the Executive Committee of the Little League Intermediate World Series, which started in Livermore in 2012. Kathleen has always had a passion for volunteering, which has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities, and community leadership roles, which include Granada Little League President, Livermore Valley Rotary Club President, Granada High School Football Coordinator and Board member for the Las Positias Community College Foundation.
In the 1950’s Kathleen’s grandparents owned “Dorothy’s Pies” in the café inside the Livermore Bowling Alley when it was located in the Rincon Shopping Center, and she has always admired having family ties within this community. She is proud to have her mom Juanita Baker with her and to raise her two sons in her hometown.
She is proud to represent the foundation as President and continue the outstanding partnership with Livermore Stockmen’s Rodeo Association. Kathleen is dedicated to the Livermore Community and helping organizations with their success.
